New Candle Drop!
Woah! What’s that? FOUR new fragrances are live on the site?
This is by far my largest drop to date. Prior to this I had only released two new fragrances at a time. A lot of effort goes into making new scents: from picking out the blends, choosing a color that matches, thinking about a name that fits, and finally, coming up with a design for the label. Sometimes it comes quickly, sometimes I have a smell I love but can’t figure out what it should be yet. Some of the fragrances above I’d been sitting on for over a year.
One that’s particularly special is Coastal Capri. The first candles I ever made were for my nieces baby shower. I came up with two: “So Sweet Aimee” and “Coastal Capri.” I decided it was finally time to release one of the fragrances that started it all, so with a little modification, I now bring you Coastal Capri. There’s some other hidden meaning in this candle. Capri is also my last name, and I grew up on the Connecticut Shoreline. Something about the salt air here has always calmed me. I hope that bringing this candle into your home will calm you too.
Now, as for the other three fragrances in this line up, I wanted to start being more playful with my naming convention.
Psychic Visions smells like lilac, a plant that when burned can help aid in clairvoyant abilities. It’s also a bush planted for protecting.
Local Haunt has undertones of Palo Santo, a wood that has clarifying properties and is used in spirit work.
Northern Lights wraps up around you and smells like winter. And what better aspect of winter than Aurora Borealis (seeing it in person is a bucket list item).
All together I think these four additions to the Tiny Robot Candle Co family help round out the line up. And while I do have a few more tricks up my sleeve, there’s no time like the present to really release these new babies out into the world. I hope they make their way into your home and that you enjoy them as much as I do!
